About the Series
In House Tranquil Waters, an old-age home in the Strand, Katy Tredoux receives news that her step-sister, Geraldina – or Dina – de Jongh, has died suddenly. Sharing these tidings with her friends Greta, Dak and Cyril, she tells them also that Geraldina used to be married to a very rich man, Claudius van Straaten, who now lives on a wine estate outside Stellenbosch. When Katy finds out that she didn’t inherit anything but suitcases of Geraldina’s old clothing, she is furious. Intent on revenge, she hatches a plot to make a bit of money out of Geraldina and Claudius. Katy’s plan entails that Greta pass herself off as Dina in order to win again the love of Claudius. Greta, however, will have nothing to do with the plan. Will Katy get the better of old Claudius or will the dead Geraldina have the last say in the matter?
