A deeply troubled private security bodyguard is in search of answers and driven to right the wrongs done to her family.
Ndoni is on a mission to avenge her father’s death after his brutal murder was staged as a suicide and he was painted as a traitor and an alleged apartheid spy. After many years of trying to prove her father’s innocence, a mysterious man enters her life appearing to share her beliefs about the circumstances of his death.
Ndoni is portrayed by Nambitha Ben-Mazwi (The Queen, How to Ruin Christmas). She was named Hot Chick of the Year at the Feather Awards and Most Stylish Performing Artist in Film/TV at the SA Style Awards. Ben-Mazwi was hand-picked by Beyoncé to appear in Black Is King and made an appearance in the hit Netflix anthology series, Black Mirror.
She’s joined by three-time SAFTA-winner Siyabonga Thwala (Legacy, Isibaya, The River), industry legend Owen Sejake (Tsotsi, Beat the Drum), SAFTA-winner Charmaine Mtinta (How to Ruin Christmas, Isono, Makoti), Neo Ntlatleng (Zone 14, Soul City), and Angela Sithole (Diamond City, Knuckle City).
