Deuntjie
About the Short Film
Everyone has that little voice in their head. In the case of Deuntjie, a shy and dutiful girl, that voice is Vera – a big diva with two flamboyant backup singers, Moses and Jacob, by her side. They play mind games with poor Deuntjie. When the boss gets married and the entire office is invited, Vera starts convincing Deuntjie to ask her big crush, Karel, to be her date to the wedding. Things go south seriously when Deuntjie can no longer distinguish between reality and the voices in her head. Will Deuntjie be able to find her own voice?
