About the Series
The English language version is currently available for licensing to the World excluding Africa. Adapted from the South African original “The River” on DStv's 1Magic channel. This production full of intrigue, betrayal and a lot of emotion, the story follows Monifa Tchiyo. The beautiful and powerful businesswoman who commands, with an iron fist, without mercy, a diamond exploration operation. Her right-hand man is Henda Tchyo, her husband's nephew, a tough and brutish young man, who works as a stick for all the villain's work. He is the figure who best interprets and executes Monifa's merciless orders.
