The English language version is currently available for licensing to the World excluding Africa: Frannie was a welder, an ordinary guy. He drinks too much. Frannie lost his job, his life, his wife and child somewhere in a drunken haze. He is not sure for certain where his family has disappeared to. The day before a total eclipse, he borrows two pairs of welding glasses from Theo, his brother who is a real bully. Frannie is determined to show his son the eclipse. But where is his son? Where is Jill – the gorgeous hairdresser whom he married? Through the course of two days and one night, Frannie completely unravels when he starts to remember where things went wrong in his life. The more he “welds” the pieces together, the more he wishes he was in fact blind.
