About the Short Film
Janel, a mysterious thrift shop owner, spends her time breathing new life into old and second-hand clothing. When three materialistic hipsters visit her store, it upsets her to hear how they plan to upcycle the garments. A desperate Janel tries to dissuade the bitchy leader of the pack, Ruth, from cutting up the items, but Ruth laughs it off and insults Janel. Little does Ruth know that her response will have deadly consequences because no matter how sweet Janel seems to come across, she harbours a dark secret.
