About the Short Film
Shackles of his dark past bind Nelis to a secluded existence with his paralysed, embittered father. After an incident at work leaves him abruptly unemployed, he takes a chance and volunteers to participate in the reality show Die Skynwerper [The Spotlight]. But following a failed audition, his suspicions grow that the show’s psychological manipulator and host is, in fact, a puppet master orchestrating his reality from the shadows.
