The Makhetha family rose from nothing to build a hotel empire but when the patriarch is murdered, a series of tragic events is set in motion that will tear this family apart. As the desire for wealth and power see a son and daughter vying for what they believe is rightfully theirs, the dreadful secret about who actually murdered their father is uncovered and puts the family empire at stake. The story has Shakespearean undertones where friends can turn into enemies and strangers into allies. No one is safe from destruction when greed and desire are at play.
