About the Short Film
Rita, an elderly woman, and the ladies of her knitting club discover that their retirement home is going to be sold by the young owner, Gertjie. With the help of the receptionist, Koekie, Rita creates a dating app to meet older men and raise funds for a rental house where they can find refuge. She also plans to take revenge on Gertjie’s grandfather, but develops real feelings for him. Greedy Gertjie finds out about the app and confronts Rita with an ultimatum. Now she must choose between a place to stay for her friends and her feelings for Grandpa Gert.
