About the Short Film
To be a mother, has always been Vrou’s biggest dream, but it seems she and her husband (Man) is part of the climbing infertility statistics. Until a miracle happens… When Vrou gives birth to a boy and her world is turned around. After birth she is covered by a dark cloud of postnatal depression. Her body, time, emotions and space now belongs to someone else. The gracious gift from above, the special intimate life season is now unbearable for Vrou. She wanted so much to do everything right, but nothing seems to work according to plan. She can see how her failure as mother is busy to ruin the lives of those closest to her, her loved ones. It seems they will be better off without her, or not… ?
